Apollo the White German Shepherd

I have wanted a German Shepherd my entire life. I have always loved big dogs and one of my life goals was to have a German Shepherd as my loyal companion. 

Growing up I always asked my parents for a dog. When I was 10 years old, my parents FINALLY caved. We got a papillon named Gates. I absolutely love her and she was the perfect dog for our family. 

When I went to college and I was away from my family dog, my love of dogs grew stronger. I longed to have a dog of my own. After graduating college my plan was: Full time job, car, house, GERMAN SHEPHERD. Eventually, all of those things happened. 

I made a compromise (with my then fiancé), that I would wait to get a dog until after our wedding/honeymoon. So..... of course as soon as I came home from our honeymoon I started looking for a German Shepherd. 

Then, we found Apollo, and fell completely in love with him. 

Now, he is our pup! And the love we have for him is indescribable. So, you can follow along with all of our adventures! 

Apollo is dog reactive and a little anxious/unsure in new situations and around new people. Helping him through this requires time, patience and training. Apollo is also a SUPER CHEWER! Finding dog toys and chews that he doesn't destroy in 5 seconds has proven to be difficult!
